I have decided to undergo hair transplant but my friends told be not to opt the strip harvesting prior to hair transplantation. I said ok but I have no idea about what is strip harvesting please anybody tell me.

Strip harvesting is a technique of harvesting hair from donor site of your body. In this method, under local anesthesia, a long strip of scalp is removed and wound is stitched back together. Then, this scalp is cut into small pieces before being transplanted back to recipient site where hair are thinning. This transplantation technique is known as Follicular Unit Transplantation
